Valerie Timms is passionate about turning your passion into profits. She is a business woman, who started out from humble beginnings and achieved her success through sheer drive and motivation to avoid a mediocre life.

Her desire to try all avenues to live her life to the full, led her to the real estate industry where in the short space of just over 2 years she became the number one award winning salesperson in Adelaide for one of the biggest Australasian franchises.

Keen to experience more, Valerie embarked upon the ownership of a franchise and very quickly catapulted her office to the number one office in SA/NT for many years. Considered a long-term elite performer within her group, she grew one of the largest businesses in the state, and spent much of her time growing, mentoring and nurturing her sales team to success, all whilst selling an elite volume of real estate. With quite a few bumps in the road, adding to her experience, a second marriage and 4 children later (in her new blended family), Valerie then made a bold break from her safety net of a franchise group with her husband Adam and created an exciting and fresh new Adelaide brand - Timms Real Estate.

With a growing team of sales people, property managers, personal assistants, administration, and 4 office locations Valerie’s business acumen has shifted their business from what others suggested was an “uncalculated risk in a tough market”, to a flourishing brand of attraction.

Valerie is often asked “How do you do it all?”, and the answer is to surround yourself with a highly experienced and dedicated team who can assist you in all facets of listing and selling, marketing and business operations.

Valerie is also an avid supporter of community and charity. Valerie is a director on the board of the Hospital Research Foundation as well as the Repat Foundation and heads up their Business Development and HR Subcommittees.

Valerie still actively lists and sells property, mentors the team at Timms Real Estate and runs the day to day business. Her goal is to assist everyone she meets to achieve their full potential and to add value to every transaction she is a part of.
