With my grandfather settling in the Lockyer Valley in 1883, I suppose you would say I am a local. Raised on a mixed farm of crops and dairy in the 60's every morning before school my job was to bring the cows into the dairy with my Dad on the ponies. In fact, growing up on the farm with my brothers and sister taught me to be very independent. I went to university in Toowoomba and have a Bachelor of Business degree.

Raised on a mixed farm of crops and dairy in the 60's every morning before school my job was to bring the cows into the dairy with my Dad on the ponies. In fact, growing up on the farm with my brothers and sister taught me to be very independent. I went to university in Toowoomba and have a Bachelor of Business degree.

My Dad started the partnership of Gatton Real Estate in 1984 and I became principal and manager in 1997. Our Business has grown with the help of other family along the way to what it is today. I love the fact that we are a family business and that we care for the real estate needs of families that we encounter in our daily business lives.

When I am not working I love to spend time in the garden, take yoga classes or just read a good book. I also am very competitive and love to play 500 or bridge. I have 8 Grandchildren that I adore (but regrettably 7 live in North Queensland). I love to be involved with local non for profit organisations including the Ma Ma Creek Exhibition committee and Lockyer Chamber of Commerce, and relish the opportunity to sponsor local clubs and fundraise worthy causes.

It is great that I now have my daughter Allison as a partner working with me in the business and can continue the family legacy. Even after all of these years, I still get a real thrill when I achieve a great result for my clients.
